How can I get rid of these swirl marks?

What are the best step process to tackle this problem?

I also want to know what products should I consider using?

I will be using PC. Any help will be appreciated.

3M Fine cut rubbing compound or DACP with a yellow cutting pad (possibly a wool pad if they are real bad).

Finish up with a SMR or mild polish with a white pad.

Seeing thats a black 97-99 Lexus ES300 it probably is not clearcoated. I've never done one of these, but I would probably hit it with DACP with a yellow pad, then depending on the haze left over PI-III MG w/white then something nice and rich, maybe some GEPC or #81 or something...

I know Scott did one not too long ago that turned out fantastic...

Thanks Steve...

So, when the pad starts getting dark or black, does it mean that the car is not clear coated? I thought all newer cars are clear coated.

If the color of the car is on the pad, it is a single stage (non clear coated) paint job.

Normally I'd say to start with Swirl Free or #9, but not with this Lexus. DACP will definitely be needed.

BTWm great shot to show the defects, much easier to make a recommendation when you have a clear vision of the problems.
