How about a webcam in the chatroom of someone using the new MF system?

A local junk yard has agreed to let me work on the premises to test some products. Before the testing can begin, I would appreciate some tips in advance to strengthen my approach and findings.

THe products being used are Tru Grit Compound, Finnesse IT 3, 3M SMR, 3M Scratch and Swirl, and Meguiars Body Scrub. I need to locate the latter 2 at a store, no luck yet. THe first two products, the compounds, I will NOT need to test. The latter 3 are in need of testing.

Again, any help is appreciated along these lines.

Also, please rate the abrasiveness of one polish to the next. If anything, this is most important.

Meguiar's Body Scrub can be found at Autozone or similar auto store. 3M SMR is commonly found at NAPA stores, at least that's where I get mine.

As far as abrasiveness, I'd think the 3M SMR is slightly more abrasive than Body Scrub. Body Scrub is more of a cleaner than a leveler. I've never tried the 3M scratch and swirl....

I will do my best to show you how the compounding MF pad and D300 polish work.

Todd, Thanks for your help! I'll have to work on a better mic for next time. I did have my canon HV20 HD camcorder running thru my macbook pro earlier via firewire, but with the settings required to use it as a webcam the video feed appeared to be worse to me. I'll do some video/audio testing in the next chat.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
