How about a pro opinion for a novice

I've been using Klasse AIO and SG religiously for the past 2 years. Recently started to long for the wet-look from carnuba, so added a coat of Pinnacle signature series (a friend let me try) after the Klasse application this spring. Not bad I must say.



Well, after searching for a while, I've decided to try another combo. Just to note, I recently applied the AIO and SG, so won't do that again until spring. I guess all I'm doing with the following application is adding shine and gloss every month? Durability is with the sealants?



Here it is:

FK1 2685 Pink

FK1 146

FK1 425



My only concern is, will the light cleaning properties of 146 remove any of the pink or sealant?



You can tell I have a lot to learn.
 
I can't really answer as I don't know from FK 146. But if in doubt I'd just leave it out of the mix. The Klasse twins, topped with wax, maintained with FK425 sounds like enough stuff on the paint for me.
 
FK 146 and 425 are QD's, the 146 being more of a waterless wash and able to safely remove more dirt/dust from the finish than 425. They both will not remove any significant LSP just like any other QD. They are both compatible with any LSP and many here use them over sealants or carnauba. No concern about 146 or 425 removing Pink Wax.



Pink Wax is a great LSP and is fairly durable. It can be a topper for the Klasse twins with no problem. It has no significant cleaning properties.

If you want FK to top your Klasse, I'd recommend Pink Wax and maintain with 425 and 146 as your QD's and consider FX-100 over the Pink Wax and/or in between coats of PW. FK's products are all interchangable and work with one another without any problems according to FK1.

Ah...OK, thanks for explaining that.



I don't see it really fitting in on this application, I'd just wash it and use the FK 425.
 
Makes sense. I'll have to check out the FX-100 over the Pink. I read alot about that.



Accumulator, probably heed your advice and just wash and use the 425 for maintenance.
