What kind of product do you use for the black trim on the side of a car(ie. the trim on the sides of a BMW and the bumpers)

I have tried mothers back to black and a few others and have not found one that works to my satisfaction.

Thanks

Back to black sucks donkey poo. It is worthless. Its not really for protection anyway. Its used to restore old damaged rubber and plastic. I just use 303. My cars have body matched rails so I don't have to worry about it anyway. On other cars I do I will either use 303 because I have less problems with it than I do with Armor All.

edit: By the way, this topic is already being discussed a few posts down. Check here

I tried forever black recently, and I have liked it so far.

Back to black would always run when wet, no matter how much I tried to buff it off. It rained today and there was no running at all from the areas I used forever black on.

Before I would use Aerospace 303 which works really good, but from my experiance it is better for keeping black trim in good condition instead of restoring trim that has faded. :xyxthumbs

I like Z16 the best. It doesn't run like Vinylex and 303. I recently Zaino'd the bimmer and used the Z on all the trim. It now stays nice without any dressings.

I have one problem area on the back bumper trim which for some reason developed some white residue from the Zaino. I don't really understand why, because the rest of the trim came out great! I would like to strip that area and start again, but I'm not sure what to use to strip it without harming the rubber....

Congratulations on the win and it's a sweet ride you got there. I see it's at the old Ellington Air Force Base Field?
