Hourly vs. Packages for details

For any job that is out of the ordinary (ie. dirty work truck interior) I charge by the hour. For general interior detailing and wash/wax jobs I just do a package price because I know how long each job should take and can estimate it to within an hour usually. I prefer hourly, but for the average customer I think they like the peace of mind of knowing what the bill will be beforehand.
 
I actually have both forms but may switch in the future. I have packages that provide different levels of service priced at a certain point, then I'm hourly when providing paint correction and coating services. Looking to switch my pricing to hourly all together soon.
