Hot Water

Hi all



Just wondering, when you guys go on a mobile detail, how do you put warm water into the bucket?



Do you have some kind of heater?



Assuming the place your detailing at does not have any hot water ofcourse :dance

I fill up a 5 gallon container with very hot water, as it cools the day warms up so it balances out nicely.

Heated bucket. Why...? Doesn't everyone have one?

I use very warm water when working in the cold.





If you use hot, you risk:



-messing up the finish from the temperature shock

-the water vaporizing into steam before it gets to the warm stage

You can get a heat exhanger for your truck's engine to heat a water tank

you could always find a metal bucket and put it on top of your running generator/engine. Then again, boiling water may not be what your looking for.



That heated bucket looks like something a wintertime QEW user would love!

I went and purchased a pair of jersey cotton gloves (large) then inserted them into rubber gloves (XL, from paint dept at home depot, heavier than dish gloves), works great. I can still pick up small items too.

It sure is. I found it for $20, figured it would be worth a shot! Keeps my water from getting cold as I QEW in the garage!
