Hot Water Extractor ??'s

Hawaiianelement

I love silicone !!
Hi , new to the boards but have a mobile buss. for a couple of months now. I've seen some people talk about woolite 6/1 ratio.

Any tips how to maximize my extractor ? I mix the powdered soap with water in my unit , turn on the heat and pump then give it a squirt to get water in the lines . Go to the heavy stains and soak it with spot remover and then scrub .

What if i added woolite to my water / soap mix? or should I use the woolite as a spot remover . I paid alot for this unit and I'm thinking I can get better results ..

p.s. We have alot of red dirt in Hawaii. Mahalo

AFAIK from the reading/ searching I have done, you get better results from spray-bottling a stain remover onto the stained areas, agitating and letting it sit for a minute or two. . . . then coming back with the HWE and using a pure wter spray from the tank to remove the spot remover. This also helps in removing all of the spot remover from the affected areas and keeps you from geting something like the upholstery too damp from multiple passes.

I use my Cyclo polisher with the scrubbing brushes and it works awesome. It seems as though nothing has a chance against it. I first use a mild solution in my Mytee hp60, then spray spot remover, scrub w/ Cyclo and then re-extract. If I had a way to upload pics I'd show you some outstanding results.

The cyclo is the dual head buffer right? It must have the scrubbing attachment? do you use low speed with that ?

Thanks for the ideas guys .

Or you can get a PC brush attachment. That is what I use. :)

Welcome to the boards...Hawaiianelement. It was nice meeting you yesterday.

Wow Ranney I haven't seen these brush attachments yet . They sound great . From looking at some of the pictures on this board I'm amazed at the results . I know I'm lacking in this department. Where have you seen the att. ?

Much Mahalo for the products and help. I'm going to put them to use on the black S500 tom. I'll take pics ..Thanks again.

A couple of thoughts...

I have the Century 400 Sensei unit. I use only water and Valugard's Odor Terminator in the fresh water tank. In a normal situatiion, I simply spray an APC liberally, and inject the hot water. Extract. This method prevents excessive buildup in the tank and heat exchanger.

Altho I have both the Cyclo and PC, I REALLY like the little B&D Scumbuster cordless scrubber. At $35 (Target, et al) it is the best value tool I own! Much more manuverable.

Bridgepoint.com offers a Spotting kit that is quite effective on everything, except red (Red Relief)>

We have consistant, reliable success in producing clean and odor neutral interiors.
