Hope everyone in TN is ok

Hi everyone,

Before the little rain storm we had here in Southern California last night, I applied Lexol to my seats (for the 1st time in 8 months!).

I used the cleaner first on ALL portions of the seats, dried, then applied the conditioner to ALL portions of the seat, front, side, and top (not the backs). Don't ask me why--- just got carried away after seeing what the product could do!

Now, it just hit me TODAY that I may have made a mistake....

Should I be concerned about using Lexol on parts of the seat that may not really be leather? Should I clean certain parts again and apply my Aerospace 303? Am I just over-reacting? It really didn't hit me until today that I may have done a bad thing by applying the product in places other than those with real leather (top of bottom cushion, and front of seat).

Thanks for the help.

whew! big sigh of relief.... I do have to say that even the vinyl portions of the seat appear to be softer and smoother than before... I wonder if there is any benefit from using Lexol on Vinyl.

Thanks for the quick reply Brad.

I know there are several folks in the flood devastated areas and hope you and your families are OK. Just saw a vid on CNN showing a building floating down the floodwaters.

Thanks Grungy...

What a weekend, and what a mess here. I heard someone say on the news last night that we've had the most rain, on record, for the month of May... and the month was only two days old.

The flooding seemed to be the worst on the west and southwest sides of town. A lot of people lost their homes in West Nashville.
The river is cresting this morning in downtown Nashville and I believe that the whole area has been evacuated.

I was driving to the store on Saturday afternoon when a tree decided to fall over... right on my truck as I was driving down the road. That was a first!
Seems the city had dug a sewer line under the tree (the thing as a big, giant Hickory tree) and it's roots were pretty well compromised. All the rain loosened what little remaining grip on the ground it had and down it came. I got a couple of small cuts on my hands and a mouthful of glass. I was pretty lucky really, lots of people here with way worse problems than mine:

Dang, you dodged one there! Be sure to thank your Maker for that one...too many have already died in the storms this spring.

Stay safe.

GEWB

Harry,

Your good thoughts are well received. They really got hit bad there in TN. Our thoughts are with them all. I tell you, the weather is all screwed up everywhere. It feels like that movie The Day After.

Gary, I am sorry to here that you were hot by that tree. I suppose it could have been a lot worse. I am glad you came away with only a few cuts, and nothing more serious.

Stay safe.
