Honda CRV with AJ

The owner bought the car about 1 year ago, since than the car received a few petrol station car wash and the rest of the time maintained by the owner herself. Scratches and swirls are all over the car, but the more serious issue is no wax or sealant or any kind of protection was applied on the car for the past 1 year and many funny water marks stains can be seen all over the car.



Here are a couple of photos of the scratches and swirls on the car,

Process,

1) Wash

2) clay

3) PG + cutting pad + rotary @ 1400rpm

4) IP + light cutting pad + DA @ speed 5

5) FP + polishing pad + DA @ speed 4

After that I finished it off with a coat of Acrylic Jett.



Everything turns out great until we were about to start our photo taking session, it started to rain. We spotted that further down to the east the sky was still pretty bright. So we took our chance drove further down to the east and luckily the rain did not follow along. After wiping dry the whole car and here is the rest of the story,

Thanks for the compliment. I find myself getting more and more fond of AJ, it is easier to use as compare to SG and it gives a wetter and deeper look as compare to many other sealant.
 
Impressive job on the swirls, looks like you got the paint looking flawless! The combination of Menzerna and AJ give the paint a super clear, wet look. :)

It actually took me quite some time to finish with this car, or maybe I'm a slow worker, it took me almost 8-9 hours in total for the work.

You can say that again, especially the result you get from PO85RD and PO106FF :xyxthumbs

You should start trying out the Prime + AJ combo, I would suggest you let Prime to set in for 30 mins before buffing off. I seems to notice the result is better if you ley Prime to cure for the 30mins before applying AJ.

Recently I have been doing quite a number of details with this combo, like what you mentioned, super clear, wet look :D

In fact the next few cars are also black and it seems like many are looking for me for the swirls and defects removal, so it kind of explain why mainly I am dealing with black cars :cry:
