Honda Civic

do you have to have a sedan? why not get the coupe. Also go with the stick man.

Not looking for a coupe, just too much of a pia when you have kids. The wife has to be able to drive it too and she hates stick shift. I really have no preference in that regard as if I feel the need for shifting and being one with a machine I will get on my motorcycle. The Civic would be strictly a means to get back and forth to work.

AS the owner of an 05 Dodg Ram with the Hemi, I completely understand the need for better MPG's. I average about 900 miles/week and at 15/16mpg, I was dying. I took my 02 Honda Magna bike and traded it in on an 06 Civic EX. Couldn't ride the bike due to dropping the kid off at the sitters. I was a little apprehensive about the "family sedan" but I honestly couldn't be happier or more satisfied. The Civic is actually stylish, somewhat sporty and averaging 38mpg over 4000 miles!!
