Honda Accord V6 Coupe

has anyone noticed how the rear lights on the new accord coupe look similar to the ones on a M-B sl500? i didn't like the new accords when they first came out, but now i want to detail one. :D

Thanks to all for the input. Ended up with auto - no choice at the dealer I wanted to work with this deep into the model year. I was lucky to get the color I wanted and the EX-L package with the side curtain air bags.

After a week of driving, I've decided "it an't no Lightning" (371 HP 475 TQ at the rear wheels), but I did drive it all week, filled up with only 13 gallons and less than $30 to Big Oil - so I'm happy, which was the intent of the purchase in the first place. Last month the L consumed $280 of premium just hauling my a$$ back and forth to work!

With the threat of rain all next week, I rushed home from dinner did a wash, blow dry (electric Toro, < $30 w/140MPH from Lowes) and a WW wipedown. Hit everything with AIO and my PC this evening. In the half light it showed a little streaking, so EO W&S and a clean MF and they were history. (Waiting until sun up tomorrow to see how well I "really" did). If streak free, then tomorrow AM is SG # 1 and maybe some pix.

Have fun with your new car. I know my Dad loves his.

It may not be a Lightning but Motor Trend reported a 14.9 at almost 93 mph. That certainly isn't bad for a family car that gets decent gas mileage!

to the world of honda paint :( it chips when you sneeze :lol

My 03 acura-tl-s gets really good mileage - on the hwy - and gulp premium on the regular roads :(

and when you floor it :lol

congrats! wish they would put that 240 v6 in the TSX

Here she is, with AIO and SG #1

Yes I forgot to dress the tires before the pix

Good choice. I bought an Accord EX V6 6spd coupe in san marino red a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. It is deceptively fast. You gotta love the auditory change over as the tach sweeps past 5K. Just for reference my previous cars were an '01 Prelude 5spd and an '02 Maxima 6spd. Check out v6performance.net. Lots of knowledgeable guys over and a very civil forum.
