Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about home distillation? Is it an economical option?
With all the threads about dust and pollen on recently washed cars, it got me thinking about pouring a gallon or two of distilled water over the car to wash the dust/pollen away and also using during ONR washes.
I guess the pros of pouring it over a dusty car is that it would be quick and wouldn't need to be dried (won't water spot)
and the cons would be that it might not completely remove all the dust, but if water can be home distilled for cheap it is certaintly a better option than waiting until the next wash.
Seems kind of straight forward to me, but maybe I'm overlooking the obvious.
