silvercookie- Be careful buying PC kits; they often sell the PC with big pads that're *too* big for it to use effectively. IME PCs work best with little 4" pads, though some people do OK with 5.5" ones. Note that both sizes are generally smaller than what you get in a "kit".



DON'T buy a kit with 6.5" pads; pure frustration IME.

Completely agree. Buy a PC with some a few 4" pads as well as a few 5.5" pads and tell the seller to make it into a kit and give you a discount. They will more than likely do it, especially when you know what you want and are persistent. For one car polishing I'd say 1 black, 2 white, 1 orange for 5.5" and same (maybe 2 orange for some more correction in spots) for the 4". Good luck.
