Hi, i'm starting to get a little frusterated, I can't really figure out the best technique...

If I recall Holograms = too much product? (is barely removing any swirls btw), If someone could provide me with a few tips about, amount of product, time spent on panel, pressure, speed that would be great! I've read a lot of the guides but I just can't seem to grasp it.

Thanks

I'm using an orange pad btw...

To much product or not working it in enough.

I use about 1-2 swirls of product and use it on 1-2 panels depending on size of them. Move it at like 1" per 1 second for speed. Remember your not in a race, you detailing a car! Speed depends upon how bad the paint is. really bad = 6, average condition = 4-5 and poilishing / waxing= 3-4 for me.

oook, so, I made a bad decision of using speed 6, and made 3 or 4 horizontal burns in the hood... I was able to restore a majority of it with a pass of ssr1. I'm fairly frusterated with this, so I decided to call it for the day, 'don't want to continue to make things worse.

Thanks for your help! =)

as well they can come from too little product going to dry on the panel..

then a pc with a lighter compound will suffice in removing them

I doubt you made a burn with a PC. Just hazed the finish with your polish. Typically I finish off on 6 and have no problems.
