It has nothing to do with animosity between message boards, I belong to and post at both. I just found this guy very funny and since I didn't expect everyone here to know about it I posted a link.

What the heck, it struck you as funny as it did several others. Some took exception to it. You can't win them all.
Obviously my earlier thread wasn't popular with a lot of people. It isn't the first time or last time for me to be wrong. Probably won't be for you either. Just keep plugging away and as long as the Fuzz doesn't chop you, you'll be fine.

Nobody mezzes with the Fuzz. Nobody!

BTW, I consider DC to be friendlier than Autopia, too, but I'm enrolled in both forums. I tend to stay away from the troublemakers (wherever I am) but I try to follow the forum rules if I do have a run-in.

I thought the post that you made brought up a lot of interesting thoughts. Had no feeling one way or another so I did not post but did enjoy reading everyone's comments.

You've got it here too. I've lurked for roughly three years and witnessed many.

I like how you nice, friendly guys treat SA Detailer half the time.

The last time that I corresponded with David B or any of the admins or mods at Autopia, our conversations were very polite and cordial. Even had folks wishing me success with my new business. They are good people.

If there is any animosity going on, I don't know about it. It would probably be a great idea to not mention or link to any threads that may get shut down at Autopia. I'm sure they get their fair share of boneheads just like we do over here at Detail City ( no I'm not going to name any names :naughty ). No point in dragging threads from site to site.

When it comes down to it all we have here is a couple of websites and a whole lot of people looking for quality car care information. Let's try to keep the drama to a minimum and get back to detailing.
 
I think the thread was deleted. Fun while it lasted though. Reminds me of a guy named Charlie. :whistling
