I think I just got dumber reading the first page of that thread. No doubt every post that guy has is in that thread. He just registered this month and I'll bet all he has done is post in that thread. What wouldn't last 5 seconds on DC has turned into an 8 page soap opera for people to whore up posts in. There is valuable information in that thread that the detailing community is greatly benefited by, I'm sure. (<----dripping with sarcasam) You don't go asking for opinions and then tell everybody that doesn't agree with you that they are stupid. That type of thread is why I don't bother with that site. Too much of that and not enough of the good stuff.

And that's why detailcity is da bomb! But still, you have to admit it is funny...especially if you look at the responses...

Yup. For some strange reason i feel that DC is different compared to Autopia, I get a better feel to it. It its more gregarious.. :santa1 Also here @ DC i feel that the majority feels young & can't wait to try out a product even if your car has been waxed2 days ago. :dnaughty and we are always getting free stuff. :bigups

This is exactly why lately I've been reading DC way more than Autopia. This thread is totally ridiculous. Also, the "vibe" on DC is much more friendly and the sponsors are much more involved in the site than on Autopia.

LOLOL...so true, so true...I posted basically that...execpt I was a bit more vulgar. can you believe that guy is 47 years old! I thought people had "jobs" and "families" by that point in life. :rofl

Edit--awww man, after only 11 pages the thread got closed. Hopefully the masochist will come back for some more comic relief! :gathering

There's always a few idiots on any message board.
Some here, some there.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion whether you agree with it or not.
Maybe the Autopia threads would be best left at Autopia and the DC threads left at DC.

If this is going to turn into an "autopia sucks and Detail City is the best" thread then we can just lock it down now. That isn't the way we want our threads to be around here. Its true that a thread like that wouldn't last 8 pages around here, but Autopia can do what they want just like we do what we want. Let's not bash anybody that can't defend themselves.

For some reason there seems to be quite a bit of animosity between DC and Autopia. Lots of people get pretty bent out of shape over it. Hey, they're both just internet message boards.
