Ive been told that its coming out in the spring. Eagle One is also coming out with a spray Nano.

Err, a spray Nanowax? Well, in case you didn't see the post I made yesterday, I believe that's already available. Picked up a bottle of it yesterday.

It's up on their site now www.turtlewax.com

You can use it in the sun and apply it to rubber, vinyl and plastic too.

Uh, oh the dreaded silicone debate. They say in the first sentence that it silicone based with "organic polymers."

They even say in the last paragraph that they market the bottle to attract attention on the shelf. That's odd, normally manufacturers don't say that publically.

ClearVue wax is a clear wax, but isn't it cheaper than Platinum wax?

The ICE is more expensive than Platinum.

A little bit cheaper. Who knows what are TW's price & products point over here? We don't have the Platinum paste, the QD...

If it is a completely new, fully optically clear product, it is definitely worth the try. TWPUG is one of the best looking LSPs of all time.

Yesh, the local Advanced Auto Parts have been heavily discounting some of the TW Platinum products. I bought out all the TW Platinum Detailer they had for only $1 a bottle. Talk about a great deal. Here are the pics of those ICE products from the TW website.

Does that mean TW Platinum Series will be replaced by the ICE products? Do I need to find another QD to replace my TW Platinum Series Ultra Gloss Detailer (when they run out of stock)???

Is this yet another carnauba product replaced by non-carnauba products due to VOC?

Peace.

That's a nice set of FAQ on the TW site.

OTC products are really overlooked here at Autopia. While it is necessary to look around for quality polishes and, wheel cleaners (OTC products have to be safe for everyone) and some other esoteric stuff, most of the OTC products are every bit as good as their boutique counterparts, and are cheaper and more readily available.

Well, stopped by my nearest Advanced Auto Parts store and what did I see? The lady stocking the shelves with the newest ICE products as well as the new Eagle One "Nano" range of products. Their prices were slightly better than Walmart's. The ICE Spray Detailer rang up as $8.98 versus $9.24 at Walmart. This ICE Polish rang up as $14.98. So, I bought a bottle of the ICE Polish. I also noticed they still had 8 bottles of the Turtle Wax Platinum Series detailer, which I bought 12 bottles of less than two weeks ago for a dollar a bottle. So, I grabbed all 8 of them, and they also charged me a buck each. Yeah!

The ICE polish comes with a microfiber cloth, and this foam applicator.

Now, the first thing I noticed about the ICE polish was its consistency - if I hadn't known any better, I thought I just bought a bottle of water. It sloshes around like water, and even looks like water. As I opened the top, I noticed the scent - quite pleasant like an air freshener. I put a few drops on the enclosed foam applicator and began to apply it on, errr, my oven door. It went on sooooooo easy - pretty much just glided on the surface. And if you thought Klasse SG was hard to see, well, this one goes on almost invisibly. I let it stand for 10 minutes and came back to it. Since my oven door is a light-cream color, I had difficulty actually seeing the haze. Still, I know I had applied it there and began to buff off with MF cloth. It came off as easily as the Mothers SynWax/Reflections products. Resulting surface was very slick. I realize this isn't much of a review or a test, but just wanted to provide some quick info on this new product. I look forward to really trying it out this weekend when I have some more time.

Is this a cleaner type wax? Or like NXT with very mild cleaners? Thanks for the pics :xyxthumbs

Doesn't appear to be a cleaner type wax. I think it's more like NXT or Mothers Synwax with very mild cleaners. Since this liquid is like water, if there are any cleaners, it's more likely chemical-type cleaners. The product just "feels" really mild - none of the harsh chemical scents that one typically associates with chemical-type cleaners.
