High-End Caranuba thread.

Any of the authentic zymols will get my endorsement. If you want to comparison shop with the exotics, I would also encourage taking a look at some of the new young players such as Victoria and Swissvax (not so young!!).

P21s is also a great wax that is relatively reasonable (when compared to the ridiculous prices that the exotics command), and Natty's Blue deserves a look-see.

I already have the Natty's Blue and Red. Just might buy some of this Dodo Juice I've been hearing about, also some Victoria Wax Red Concours.

I recently tried my hand at using a High-End Caranuba wax. At first I was very reluctant to use a natural wax due to it's durability compared to the durability of a sealant (synthetic wax). I have a light colored truck and every detail nut out there knows it's really hard to create a shine that has depth on a light colored vehicle. The sealant that I use creates spectacular reflectivity but offers little in terms of depth of shine (wet look). I finally took the plunge and paid $70 for a jar of Blackfire's MidNight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax. Please note that I used this wax over the top of a sealant (Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Protection) and in short, the results were nothing shy of jaw-dropping. WELL worth the money if you are in it for show. My truck is 9 1/2 years old and looks better than the day I bought it. I used a Porter Cable polisher, Menzerna Final Polish, Menzerna Glaze, Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Sealant. After this 3 step process the truck looked fantastic but adding the Blackfire Midnight Sun took the truck to an entirely new level of shine.:wow:
