"High Efficiency" washing machine and Sonus Der Wunder Wasche = works?

My mom wont let me put sonus der wunder wasche in our washing machine because she thinks that it will break something because it isn't branded as high efficiency.



Has anyone had experience with this soap and HE machines?



If it does not work, can I wash it by hand and then place in the dryer?



These are new towels i need to wash before the first use btw...

I always wash my MF in the same washing machine and i don't have any probleme, the SOnus don't really foam and the probleme with the HE washing machine is the foam...
 
I've used non-HE soaps in our HE machine plenty of times. Even the mfr sez it's OK to do if you cut the quantity of soap in half. Sure, you can get loads o' suds, but the machine knows where there's to much foam and takes its own corrective action to de-suds things....no big deal.
