HIDING swirls

For that matter, I dunno how well NXT hides stuff anyhow; a pal of mine uses NXT and thinks it hides his marring...but I still see it quite clearly (Sorry Bob, your MKII is great but is really needs properly polished out ;) ).

I fully agree. I'm never one to tell someone that what they experience is wrong, so as people mentioned that NXT was a good glaze I just went along with it, but I don't really notice any filling properties of any kind. Now, I *have* noticed the cleaning ability of NXT. Though its not a very strong one like AIO, it definitely evens out and brightens the finish a bit like a very light claying would do.

Longer term, I was considering some OP or OC (maybe SIP, but don't think it will do well in S. Florida heat/humidity).

This humidity is a killer! I am currently using Presta on a rotary, but I've heard that the new 1z Intensive is like SIP's weather-friendly cousin.

Wonder how it dusts? So what other S.FL. weather friendly products do you know of? (You're just down the road from me!)

OK, roger that; I'll happily defer to your experience on the cleaning. Perhaps the pure polish-compatibility has more to do with the glazes being more durable than some might think.

Do you think it's a matter of the ingredients or just a solvent action? (e.g., I can even sorta-clean a surface using stuff like 845 if I apply it by Cyclo with a little pressure.)

I've had NXT remove cured one shot enamel paint, not all of it but there was color transferrer on the foam applicator, by hand.

I'd figure it would do a number on wax under it then...

Huh, that's something I wouldn't have expected.

I always liked RMG - I've gone through most of the glazes on the market, and that's the one I would recommend to a newcomer. I prefer the look of Meg's #7 for my own car, but it is such a pain (and has such a learning curve) to apply and remove that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Have you tried Prima Amigo?
