Hide scratches AND use Klasse or Zaino?

I've been working hard on 8-year old med-green paint (clearcoat) with various compounds and polishes and PC pads, but some scratches and marring remain. I'll try to hide them, but I'm planning on Klasse or Zaino, and I don't know if that's possible.

The Dawn wash Sal Zaino insists on will wash out fillers and oils, and so will the cleaning element in Klasse AIO. I love both products, but they don't do much for hiding paint defects. Any ideas?

Is there another sealant product I should try?

I've had pretty good filling/hiding with layers of Klasse SG. It only works on really tiny, light swirls though, and won't do a thing for scratches or moderate swirls.

Here’s what has worked for me when doing spot repairs - -

After polishing wash with Z-7 to get rid of residue/oils, aas many coats of IHG as needed to fill the marring. Wipe (not wash) with a mild Z-7 solution, Wipe again (light pressure) with Z-6. Top with three layers of Z-1 + Z-2 or Z-5.

Several months ago I did this on some pretty deep feline caused scratches on my hood. It took many cycles of the above procedure, but eventually the scratches were gone!

Good luck and have fun!

IMHO: If they are too deep/marred to be removed, then they are too deep/marred to be covered up. For covering up a hand glaze IHG, #7, Mother sealer glaze followed by a carnauba is your best bet. These glazes only cover up very fine swirls however they do enhance the shine.

good luck
