I think you will find that Mike very definitely has a sponsor. In fact his addiction is very much towards one particular brand of products. From what I have read, his knowledge of that line of products might be about as great as his addiction. :)

I'll add a welcome, but I'm confused (not that that is unusual :)). The thread is from 2003 as was Mike's last post. Last I knew he was enjoying an oddesy before joining the AG staff.

Can someone clue me in?

I think Mike just changed his ID and since any changes to id, signature, etc retroactively appear on any prior posts, it just shows his ID has changed. Of course, Troy or the mods knew since they had to change the ID.
