Just thought I'd say hi and make my 1st forum post. I've been following the forums for a few days now just reading. Its been a lot of help so far and I can see I have lots to learn.

I just bought a 2004 Silverado Extended Cab Z71 that is going to need some attention. Its a dark charcoal metallic and the paint is going to need some TLC. In fact the whole truck was very dirty inside and out. It'll take some work to get this truck cleaned up. Going to take some time and read up on all your detailing and polishing forums. Thinking about trying some polishing even though I've never done it before. Glad I found this forum and looking forward to trying some new things.

I bet you got a good deal on your truck. Gas prices are making people sell their low mpg vehicles pretty cheap these days.

Welcome to DC :welcome: There is a lot of great information here and i think you will be fine polishing the truck up. Its not that hard just very time consuming read up and all the best of luck :bigups
