Hey Zaino users! Are you getting a slick finish after a Z-7 wash?

A year ago I was an NXT user. Used NXT wax/ spray wax/ NXT wash/ and NXT QD. When I dry my car with a CA blade, and WW after it's been wax like a week ago the slickness is not there anymore. It feels like the carwash stripped all of it away. Is this normal for any LSP after a carwash? When it's not slick I would use the NXT spray wax to bring it back, just to know it's gone after it rains or a car wash. So, then I knew I had to try Zaino...

So I've been using Zaino since October 06, and I wash it with Z-7 wash weekly or try to. Before when I use NXT I just use a WW and CA blade and wiped it away. This time I blot dry and use leaf blower after the CA blade. My hood is very slick when it completly dries, but parts of the fender and rear are not that slick. Is this supposed to be normal?

When I did use Zaino the first time I did not blot dry, I simply drag that WW around, but since using the blot and leaf blower technique most of my car is slick, and I just apply Z-8 to make it bling.

To compare, the shine is still there, but sometimes it's not as slick when it dries completly. Don't get me wrong, but it beads like crazy still. My question, using Zaino after a wash, is it supposed to be slick or it's just normal for the paint to feel kind of squeeky? Thank you all!

The hood vs. fender thing is new to me other than a possible loss in protection.

Slickness in regards to your towel movement or hand movement over the paint? Weather and any moisture (in the air, on the car, or your hands) has a lot to do with slickness.

My Zaino slickness is usually 'paralyzed' for about an hour after it's dry. However, comes back after that hour like no other...It's kind of like how men feel after sex :grinno: .
