The funny thing that I've discovered about photographing black vehicles is that the pictures always blow me away more than the original did. I mean, it looked damn good while I was taking the picture, but when I got home it looked even better. I guess when you get a chance to look at it longer you start to notice how deep the reflection really is. Gotta love black.

well it was so nice out today, my car was calling me. I also wanted to try the relfection of the car when i was done.

Here are some pix. Nothing as good as a black car but I tried.

I tried and tried my butt off today.

steps taken

1. wash meguiars gold class

2. dawn wash- i do this second as i dont like the way it washes.

*edit* did the dawn wash as i had s100 on it already with final polish. nice day so i started fresh. :)

3. wash meguiars gold class- remove any dawn (I am just anal)

4. clay red bar

5. 3m SMR - applied with pc

6. Final polish- applied with pc

7. S100- applied by hand

stoners trim shine on tires and dash.

I think this is the best i could do on it. :)

as we all know there is only so much that can be done to white. The area where i took the pix was cloudy today to, maybe I will find some better reflection shots later.

Brian,

Wow, looks awesome! I guess you finally got out all the swirls from when your wife took it to the carwash, eh?

By the way, I love that Final Polish- that's what we used at your place. So good. I'll have to call you about getting together with your distributor!
