jesselyons2002 said:Just wondering rob. Have you tried the grout sponges. You don't need to try it on your car. You can try it on a test panel. That's what I did.
Rob Tomlin said:I did try it, and didn't like it. Not that I noticed marring or anything. I just prefer the way my LW mitt feels/works better.
jesselyons2002 said:Oh ok. Then just keep using it. No use of changing if you don't feel comfortable with it, but how come your in this thread ???

Do Lotus' have soft clear coats?
I'm going to give the GS a try today, assuming I can find one at HD. Trying it on a DD. Why do I think my daughter will drop it on the ground and use it. Lecture time.
Rob Tomlin said:Honestly I am not sure if the clear coat on the Lotus would be considered soft. My guess would be yes. And again, to be clear, I have not said that I noticed any marring with the GS! It just doesn't "feel" right to me, and I just get the "feeling" that it might mar the finish as it feels somewhat hard and flat compared to the soft LW mitt that I use.
Totally subjective.
Looking forward to hearing what you think after trying it on your (very cool) car!
zzzzdoc said:Trying it on the LS600hL first. I'm pretty conservative with the toy. If I'm not perfectly comfortable with a product, I test it out first on the daily drivers.
Just idle curiosity regarding the Exige. Often thought about it for a track car. Nothing more sinister.
