Hi guys! Been a lurker for a while and decided to join today.

I'm from California and have recently decided to get into detailing. After I had my car detailed for the first time, I realized I absolutely love how it looks. I will be doing this as a hobby but will take it pretty serious.

I will be working on cars like a 09 Corolla, 08 350z, possibly a venza and some others. But for now ill keep it to a minimum until I get the hang of it.

Hope to learn as much as I can.

So time for some browsing and shopping for everything I need!

Besides browsing the forums. Do anyone know of any auto detailing classes in the bay area?

Thx for the suggestions but I'm located in Norcal (San Francisco) so San Diego is too far.

After countless hours of research, watching videos, reading articles, and looking through user post, I've narrowed it down to these products.

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine

Optimum Car Wash

Optimum Opti-Eraser – Fine Grade

SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect

Chemical Guys Lube

HD Advanced Decontamination Clay Bar

Detailer's Engine Degreaser

3 Pack Cobra Guzzler HD Waffle Weave Drying Towels

3 Pack Gold Plush Microfiber Towels

Miracle Towel

Waffle Weave Microfiber Glass Towel

Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator Microfiber Detergent Concentrate

Detailer's Total Interior Cleaner

8 inch Montana Original Boar’s Hair Wheel Brush

Grit Guard® Dual Bucket Washing System - CLEAR

I know I'm missing some stuff but that's what I have planned so far.

Any suggestions or opinions?

I'm planning to invest in a polisher after I read some more articles on it. I'm still having a hard time understanding it, with all the polishers/pads and stuff.
