Hey, all you Honda guys......

I've got a buddy with a Civic Si. We'll probably be getting it ready for a n.e.0hio

winter pretty soon and I'd like to take a little polish to it after claying. The paint is

in pretty good shape, no major issues. I have only Menzerna's SIP and 106FF, and

Meg's #80 to choose from. I use the Menz stuff on my harder VW clear but am

wondering what you guys think should be used on the Honda paint.

Any advice?

Will probably use BFWD as a LSP.

thanks,

I recently had a 1997 Civic Ex in Milano Red which I polished out with Menzerna SIP on a LC white pad and then followed that up with 106FA on a LC Black pad.

What machine are you using? DA? Rotary?

This was on a Makita 9227C rotary using it around 1500rpm.

After just SIP and before 106FA:

typically honda paint is known to be soft, so with that said.. try doing a test spot with the least aggressive product. try 106ff and/or#80 first with a white pad and see where it gets you...
