Here's a tough one!

Hi all, I got a toughie for y'all.

See, I have BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO tires on my truck, here is a link for those of you not familiar with them: http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/images/tires_cut/all_terrain_ta_ko.gif

Now are those not the most handsome tires you have ever seen? :D

Look at the shoulder blocks, how theres a bunch of them, they stick out from the rest of the tire a bit (I'm talking about the fin looking things around the outside edge) and are really really hard to get tire dressing into, unless I use a spray foam type, which I have long since decided is a descendant of evil :) How would YOU get tire dressing (spray, gel, any kind) in there? In the past I would go to each one and rub it down in between and on them, which is very time consuming. Thank you VERY much for any help.

Go to your local hardware store, go in the paint aisle and pick up some of the foam brushes used to apply stain.

Apply your tire protectant/dressing of choice using the foam brush. The beveled tip of the brush dresses both sides of the "tread fins" at the same time and they are inexpensive. ;)

Hey thanks! That sounds like a real good idea to me! I really dont ever apply dressing unless its a special occasion ;) So I'll give that a try. Thanks again!

My truck has firestones on it and deep sipes on the sidewall as well. I use the Eagle one applicators and it gets the stuff in there.

I had some Eagle One tire gel and tire swipes in my hand yesterday, but then remembered the sidewall sipes, so I put it back. Where can I get the Stoner's at? Theres about 7 or 8 different kinds of dressings aorund here, different brands, etc etc, its gets frustrating. Thanks!
