Yesterday i was trying to remove some extremely heavy swirls and water spots that they were caused by rinsing the car without wiping it for 2 years long.the car is a Honda Inspire black metallic paint about 12 years old.Is there a possibility to completely remove them by DA polisher? If yes what is the best combo for faster and effective removal by DA?Please help

You need to remove the calcium first. This will require clay and possible a good soaking in some vinegar 9% acidity. You may have deep etching as well that you may not be able to remove at all even with a rotary.

the spots were caused by hard water from the car sitting beside a sprinkler in the heat of the summer.I already tried 4" SFX-1 pad ,Orange DAS pad ,8006 PAD,unknown orange pad, SFX-2 Pad,all of them with #83 and SFX-1 Restore Polish. After 4 passes the spots are not so much visible as before but are still there.I was trying all day long to remove them from the entire car.Maybe i have to use something more aggressive on more aggressive pad?pls advise me about those scratches too.

You might be able to remove them with an aggressive combo like rotary + Megs 105. I recently did a car with a really bad case of waterspots and the majority of it were removed by megs 105 + rotary + wool.

I don't know if a DA would be enough to take it out though.

I clayed it of course before polish it.Before claying the surface was like sandpaper : ).

Is it a good idea to try something more aggressive than #83 or SFX-1( i think both of them are 6/10 on cutting power).Have you got also some ideas about those scratches : )

If what you are using is not tough enough to remove the damage present, try a more aggressive combo. If an abrasive foam pad + Diamond Cut (or similar) will not remove it via PC, try it with a rotary and wool pad.

You have got quite the job ahead of you. ;)

get some hi tempt extreme cut, menzerna power gloss, or something like that...both can be worked with a PC, a cutting pad and speed 6 with pressure on the PC....then follow up and remove the hazing and micromarring with 83 and a orange pad, then polish it out with a light polishing pad and a polish...steps are your friend with a PC, and its not going to be fast.....

rotary and LC purple wool with HTEC will work wonders...
