Help with Stainless!!! On the job, ASAP!!!

First off, thanks for looking and helping a guy out!!! (might be wrong subforum, not sure)

I'm polishing up an exterior Stainless Steel kitchen for a customer, and every LSP i'm using is streaking!!!

I've tried: Simple Green SS Cleaner (just a surfactant, water and silicone)

TR3 Resin Glaze

Four Star UPP

Meg's Cleaner Wax

Blue Magic (polish with silicone...No streaks but to dark)

TW Chrome Polish (No protection)

Olive Oil

Baby Oil

Brasso

NOXON7

Everything is to uneven an streaking, and I've tried every application technique in the book. (Multiple, single coats; crosshatch, w/the grain, using the PC and 4'' CCS pads, by hand, EEERYTHANG!!!!

Any idea's on something a guy could find locally?

Here's a thought... Use actual SS polish. you're local hardware store, Sam's club, wlamrt, etc etc etc etc should have it in abundance. Why use automotive products that are obviously not made first and foremost for SS sinks? I would check out resutrant cleaning supplies. They go through this type of thing daily.

are you trying to make the SS shine more

or are you trying to add a layer of protection?

+1. We need a little more information here. When I worked at a restaurant way back when, we used a SS cleaner that was in an aerosol can. Amazing stuff, though I can't remember the name.

Try Sprayway SS cleaner. Same people that make the glass cleaner. Use it on my SS appliances in the kitchen. Does a good job.

I'm looking for an LSP for protection purposes, as I've already polished to remove oxidation/water spots etc, and obtained a suitable shine/correction.

I've exhausted all my local retail outlets, and when asked for something that provides protection, all I get is recommendations for cleaners.

The sink is not the issue, this is a ~$50k setup; 2 large grills, a fridge, storage, exhaust hood etc.

I'm a painting/pressure washing contractor by trade and have clean a metric sh*tload of commercial SS cooking apparatuses, but a protective application is never warranted by those customers, hence why I am lost with protection.

Thus far Eagle One "wheel keep clean" has performed well, but I'm not confident in it's actual protection.

i've used "clean it" ss wipes by carbone, i found it in dollar tree works very well on ss appliances.

Thanks for the help everyone.

I ended up getting sidetracked with other projects today, so the LSP will go on tomorrow.

My best result in testing thus far has been, believe it or not, the RainX windshield washer fluid. It seems to remove any left over polish (I was using a 91% IPA wipedown), and leaves a notable siliconized layer behind, all without streaking.

Thanks again!!!
