I need a product that will not make them slippery. I would also like a product that will last longer than a month. Seems everyone has a SUV what are you guys using???
Well, most water based protectants for plastic are not going to last a month when exposed to the elements.
I would use something like 303 on the running boards, it still might make them a little slick. Just about anything you put on them might make them slick. It's for this reason that many people just wash them and do not apply any type of protectant.
Agreed. Just wash them, and detail the sections that are not stepped on. Anything else is defeating the purpose, ie. getting safely into the "SUV". If you want to make things exciting, just remove them completely. Looks better...
