Help with Product Comparison

ONR is the choice for a rinseless wash. The spray and wipe is what I used before ONR came out and its more of a QD than a rinselsss wash but it's not bad. However you can't change the diltuion of that product whereas with ONR you can just add more concentrate to your mix to add lubricity. That's what I do for clay lube, if I have really delicate paint I just add more ONR to the mix for more lubricity. Plus it's just far more economical!

PB is a waterless product and ONR is a rinseless product. The idea is you can wash your car with the PB product but you mix up the ONR in a bucket to give it a bath.

Optimum now sells Opti-Clean which is the equivalent to PB S&W.

Thanks Dave, good to hear from you. I have missed seeing your posts recently!

Hope all is well.

I used the ONR yesterday as a spray and wipe to remove a Bird Bomb. I just went out ot get the news paper and i see the trigger bottle is now not the same color blue? Its still 1/2 full. Any ideas. Still smells like ONR?

I think, based on what I read on the label and some feed back here you can make a spray and wipe product buy making a heavier mixrture.

I think that S&W is more for very light soil. If your car is to dirty you will go thru mf towels like crazy to do the job right.

Agreed, i would never spray and wipe my car if it were very dirty. My car mars if I look at it!

2oz of ONR and 30oz of water makes for an excellent QD and is much cheaper then the S&W. Plus you get a rinseless wash too ;)

Agreed.

The blue color of ONR mixed with water disappears over time but it still works the same.

With every waterless and rinseless product where you have to decide for yourself when you need to get out the bucket and soap.

Even with ONR, it can benefit from a good hose spray before using it when the vehicle is dirty.

Good to know, I wonder why?

No Doubt!

If it is even close to too dirty, I just 2 BM wash it. Most of my ONR is to wipe off light surface dust or bird bombs.

I have used both ONR and PB S&W, and like them both. For me, they are both usefull. If the car is dusty, I will take out the S&W, and if it is more soiled, I will use ONR for a wash. Obviously, using S&W is quicker, but an ONR wash will be more effective when the car is dirty. That being said, ONR can be used as a QD like Dave said, so it is a much more versitile product. Use it as a rinceless wash, a QD and a clay lube. If you are looking for one product that you can use for all these applications, ONR is the way to go.
