Help with pricing out a current detail.

Hey everyone. I have a few quick questions regarding a current detail.

Its a 2013 Ford F350. Black.

The truck is used as a work truck, and along with that came caked on mud/dirt/grime. After the initial wash (2x) I noticed scratches in a few spots on the truck.

What would one normally charge for this? Keep in mind that the owner of the vehicle is close to me and I am not looking to overcharge him.

We spoke about making it an account. I will be servicing the truck once a month for maintainance. The scratches has to be removed, truck clays, everything dressed, interior...the whole 9 aside from engine detailing.
 
Being a work truck and black I would not get aggressive on RIDS now. If it is going to continue to get covered in mud, etc. I would simply do a light polish (maybe even an AIO like BFTPnS) and see how well it can be maintained over the next few months. If it is still good come spring, then maybe worth spending more time and energy on.

I agree, at least $20/hr for this kind of work. Bartering could be considered if it is someone close.

I charge for everything and $20 is cheap to me. My time and knowledge is worth more.

To be able to help with the scratch and such we would need good pictures. Some scratch are just to deep to fix unless you use touchup paint or get it professionally fixed...
