I don't know why trying to polish out light scratches on black painted plastic bumpers is so hard. The paint seems nothing like the paint on the metal panels - it must have flex in it.
Tried polishing them out with a polishing pad on my PC and megs #83 which is more abrasive than my usual use of Speed glaze #80. - didn't even make a dent in what I believe are just surface marks in the clear coat. Any suggestions? Should I move up to a cutting pad? Little nervous to do so as it seems a lot harder to remove hazing from this type of paint. Thanks in advance for your comments.
