Help with Megs procedure (20,21,16)

I am going to use #20 sealant as a cleaner/sealant and my LSP will be #16 , should I do a #21 between or would that be pointless ?

(Maint. will be done with either OPT stuff or Megs UQD/UQW)

Fallguy- If I felt the need to do more than just the M20, then I'd just do the M16 topper. That'd probably be a pretty big "if" too.

If you need the cleaning aspect of #20 then I would consider another product (maybe Klasse AIO, or even Meg's ColorX). If you don't need the cleaning ability then skip #20 altogether and go with Thomas' recommendation of 2 layers of #16 instead. In my experience, #16 is more durable than #20.

I used to maintain a 1997 MINT (37000 miles) in 2007 white M3 that was tracked only. Perfect in and out. Once I protected it with #16.

That coming saturday at the track the banner didn't want to stay on, the paint was so slick. :D:D:D

I'd use #16 as well. Put on 2 layers for perfect coverage instead of 20/16

What is it going on?

Its going on my 2012 Tahoe (black) I like the look of 20 and to me for the minor cleaning I want I thought #20 would do the trick. The truck has been , cleaned and clayed , ect...... but I was going to remove prev. OPT stuff thats on there.

I did the tape off test with sealants and did half the hood with 20 and liked that the best , but have yet to lay a coat of 16 over it.

Yeah, what ever works for you is what you should do. I am positive, it will look fantastic. Please post some pictures once you are done?

ok thank's for your help. Ill try to post some up.

I've decided to just do 20 , 1 or 2x for even cleaning/coverage then cure for a day or so and do 16.
