Ive just purchased a carbon black bmw 5 series and it needs a complete detail ,its only 4 months old and has several small scratches and lots of swirls.
I have SSR1 ,2 and 2.5 along with EXP and NATTYS etc.
I can apply by hand or machine ,what products and in what order should i use them?
Im a bit scared of the SSR2.5 incase i damage the paint ,your thoughts and help would be grateful

Use the SSR2.5 with a polishing pad at speeds of 5-5.5 remember to work it until it practically disappears. Repeat as needed until you get results desired.
Then use SSR1 with a finishing pad at speeds of 4-5 again keep working it until it disappears or a bright finish starts poking through.
Then do the EX-P with a damp finishing pad...let dry for about an hour, repeat ......
then the next day do the Natty's by hand:)

You have a good lineup. Dont be afraid, just start out the least agressive first, and then move up if you need it.

Try this order:

Wash
Clay
Try SSR 1 with a white polishing pad on 4.5.
If you are not where you want, try another 1-2 passes with the SSR1
If good, go to EX-P
If not try the SSR 2.5 with the white pad. Dont be afraid to push the speed up to 5-6 and lean into it a little on the tougher areas. Do a final pass with SSR1 and a polish pad if you have any hazing.

That should do the trick for the swirls, and hopefully the scratches.

Next do the first coat of EX-P with a Finishing Pad. Spread it thin and leave it for 20-30 min.
Buff off with a MicroFiber.
Wait a day
Do another coat of EX by hand this time.
After that, do 1-3 coats of Natty's and you'll be very happy. I have found that 2 coats of EX (or EX-P) with 3 coats of Nattys is absolutely stunning on dark colors. Dont be surprised if you get stopped by strangers asking what you use.

If you need any other tips, advice etc, just ask. Post some pics when youare done, and most of all have fun...Thats what it is all about!
