Help with Blood

Ok guys, I need some help. My brother just got a new to him 16 Silver f150 with grey cloth interior. He bought Thursday. Well last night he got jumped and robbed outside of a convenience store. He his banged up pretty good, but over all ok, thank God. He got blood inside it. What is the best, least aggressive approach for removal. I was thinking some diluted peroxide, or PB enzyme treatment.

I once got a blood stain up with folex and my steamer and some soft brushing
glad to hear he`s ok

I`d go with PB Enzyme

Tuxedo Taurus- I`m just glad he`s OK.

Cold water + enzymatic cleaner. Due to the pets, I`ve dealt with this kind of thing countless times on many textiles, and the Protein Stain Removers with the enzymes have always worked great as long as I used a long enough dwell time. Caked dried blood on light color fabric = cleaned up fine, but it sure did take a long time (apply, dwell, extract with *COLD* water, repeat over and over and..).

I wouldn`t try the peroxide lest it do some kind of undesired bleaching (not saying it would, but I`d not take the chance).

Thanks guys, I have folex too.

We are heavy traveling both state side and internationally. We are moving in May to Trinidad. So hopefully Tuesday we can clean it up. He said the paint feels like sand paper.

He is really shaken up, but ok.

Well, he *OUGHTA* be shaken up! That`s gonna be one of "those experiences". I hope that getting the truck cleaned out might help it seem less currently-immediate, that`s quite a graphic reminder there, every time he opens the door....

Glad he`s physically OK. Sadly the emotional injury that is incurred when this happens make take some time to dissipate. Let`s face it, he`s been violated and that`s difficult to fully comprehend. This said, I`d definitely stay away from peroxide on the fabric, I think it will lighten the fabric.

Yeah someone said "Hey buddy" as he turned around got sprayed in the face with mace, another guy grabbed him from behind and slammed him to the ground, 2 others jumped on him and were punching him and cut all his pockets. All the got was a few dollars and his wallet. The police got the security footage and can make them out.

A clerk at that same place got killed there 6 months ago. That area used to be a good place not too many years ago.

Ok sounds good. I just knew peroxide took care of my collar from shaving mishaps

Yeah, I think the emotional aspect hurts the most and last the longest.

Glad he is ok physically. Make sure he talks with someone, that kind of stuff can really effect you mentally.

I hope they catch the cowards!

We had a good talk today, and have a good relationship. I will be staying with them Monday through Wednesday.

We will detail his truck Tuesday to talk and get his mind off of it

I haven`t had any problems with hydrogen peroxide personally. But you could try the folex first it`s milder

I have used Meguiars D116 Pro Protein Stain Remover in the past with great success on blood stains. Not tried the Poorboys on blood yet but probably a great products as most all PB`s products are.

If the above suggestions don`t work please pm me, send pictures and let me know if you have an extractor.

I`ll do my best to help.

Thanks guys, we haven`t got to the truck yet. Got hit with the storm. It will wait till I get back from Trinidad after March 28

Sorry to hear about what happened to your brother. I am glad he is ok. Sometimes I don`t understand the world we live in. How can people treat each other so bad. I hope they catch the people who did this.
