Hey all, I haven't posted in a long time (moving away and grad school got the best of me) but I'm finally back. I have a 97 ES300, and as you can expect, it's swirled to hell.
After washing the car twice with nxt wash, and claying the car, I started using the pc. At first I used a white polishing pad with 3m rubbing compound, but didn't have much luck. I then used a yellow pad and it seemed to help more. Lots of hazing is left, but I'll follow up with ssr2 on a white pad.
Here are some pics, any ideas on if this/these combos will work? I know Audi clear is usually pretty hard, is Lexus paint similar? Thanks a bunch!
The first pic shows the hood where I used the white polishing pad and the 3m rubbing compound. The second pics shows the driver side door where nothing has been done yet. The last pic shows the yellow pad, but there are still quite a few swirls. I'm guessing 2-3 passes should do the trick?
