I would recommend to you to search the forums for each product you are curious about and learn as much as you can.

A few months ago, like you, I was new to detailing and had no idea what anybody was talking about on here. But if you do your homework and read and search, you will learn fast.

The only real way to know what products you like/dislike is to try them. I would recommend staying away from products at walmart and the like, besides the meguires stuff, and just use the forum search as your main tool. It will be your best friend.

Hope this helps:D

Can anybody help with the swirl problem? You need a more aggressive polish. #9 is not the greatest at removing swirls. And #26 will only hide swirls.

I use 1Z Lederpflege. Is it the best? I don't know...but it works well for me.

there is no answer to this question. Some people like certain products. You just have to try some various products and see which ones you like best.

whats the best tire dressing?

I prefer Wolfgang Tire Gel.

glass cleaner?any type of polish for windows?

I use Sonus Glass Cleaner because it's safe for tinted windows. It cleans well too, without any streaking.

best wash mitt? sheep skin or microfiber?

I prefer microfiber wash mitts, since they are soft and rinse out easily in my rinse bucket.

microfiber waffle weave towels? what are the best ones i can purchase?

I have several WW towels from http://www.exceldetail.com

All of their products are excellent, and the customer service is excellent as well.

best car duster that doesnt cause swirls or damage to the paint?

I've never used one myself, but I'd say go with the Original California Duster.

i was going to purchase the california water blade but i wasnt sure is anyone familiar with this product ? can it cause any swirls or damage to the paint ?

I used a CWB all last year and never noticed any new swirling or scratches from it. You just need to make sure it is clean, and the paint surface is also clean. I haven't decided whether I will use it this year or not. I may just stick to using 2 WWs without the CWB.

whats a great cover that wont damage my paint for all types of harsh and spring and summer conditions?

I only have a cheap car cover that has scratched my paint a few times. I have nothing to recommend.

Microfiber towels are essential. I get mine at http://www.exceldetail.com

You should also get a PC 7424 orbital polisher for removing swirls. It is much easier than doing it by hand. You can purchase them at the Autopia Store.

I prefer the Propel pads for the PC, available at http://www.exceldetail.com

Good luck and :welcome to Autopia

if any any one can help i would really appreciate it thank you.

And...as it was said above, all of this information can be found by searching. The search function is your friend.

Oh man, that's a loaded question with more answers than you could ever want.

Sure, you will probably get quite a few suggestions but keep in mind that they are all personal preferences.

I suggest starting by understanding the process before you inquire about the products. Download the Autopia Ebook if you haven't done so already, watch the Meguiar's videos, and browse this forum as much as you can. After you fully understand the process, then look into the products but don't buy anything until you fully understand those also. Good luck!
