HELP: Two paint jobs on one car

My boss is going to let me practice using my PC on his black 96 Corvette. It has been in an accident and, as a result, has two different paint jobs (factory and bodyshop). From what I've read in my searches, I should treat them both the same for a general clay, polish and wax job (Einszett polish and glanz wax)??



Is there anything else I should consider? He's not real uptight about this. It's an autocrosser and all it costs him is my supplies.

Don't worry about the paint. As long as it is cured, just treat it the same as factory paint.
 
Really don'y worry , my truck has been painted on the drivers side on three differnet occasions , in three different places.
