last weekend, I cleaned my tire and dressed it with PB Natural Look. After a week of rain (Typhoon) and some floods, I notice that the tires are turning a bit grayish blue. Btw, i used diluted (~5:1) Simple green to clean my tires.

What's wrong? Actually before, I use EO Wet tire shine, i also see this problem but not that much.

thanks!!!

i may be beating a dead horse here . . . but what steps did you take at cleaning your tire prior to applying your protectant . . .

if the tire had left-over product from a previous application, especially if dirt and other debri had settled onto the surface and molded in with the product, what your seeing could be the further deterioration of the old product with the added dirt and what not from the moisture and harsh weather conditions . . . .

fdizzle: 1st i used regular car shampoo to clean the tires using a brush then i followed it up with simple green diluted to 5:1 also agitated with brush... after cleaning, i dried the tire before applying the PB NL.

Maybe thats just what PB's NL looks like when it fades :nixweiss

Try cleaning the tire with your wheel cleaner (full strength), scrubbing it really good, and letting it naturally air dry and see how it looks. If the blu-ish color has gone away than it would almost have to be the PB's dressing.

Ive never experienced this so I'm just going by what I would try if it were my car.

well, you certainly preped the tire adequatly . . . . thats strange man, have you tried switching products at all?
