Right now I do not have a DA but plan to get one eventually. For hand work now and DA work later which do you like better for a step after clay Meg151 or BF SRC finishing polish? If the vehicle is so messed up it needs more I will look into Meg105/205 or something but I may not want to ever do anything thats bad enough to need anymore. I will follow these with either BF GEP or go straight to WDAFPP, 845, or FK1000p which ever I am using on the vehicle. I have the GEP, WDAFPP, and 845 already and plan to get some 1000p to try(not sure if it is any better than what I have already or not). I am just a hobbiest and friend and family guy. Todd threw MEnz powerfinish in the mix as something to think about. I have FK425, OCW, Aquawax, and two bottles of UWW+ to use also. Any advice on other products I might want to try and things I have already from above to use together and not to.

by hand I'd go for neither. 151 is an AIO and it sounds like you want to put on something better as your lsp. BF finishing polish probably won't do anything by hand so I'd just get a paint cleaner for now like Duragloss 501, Wolfgang PPE, or Pinnacle CL

I have a 1998 Grand am (daily) red, 2001 Trans Am WS6 (toy) black, and 2008 Ford Fusion (silver). I did the fusion as follows, wash, clay, BF gloss enh polish, BF AFPP. I realize by hand there won't be any correction going on now but when I get a DA is why I am asking about the other items.

With the products you have, I would save the $ and use what you have and then by the DA. I have exactly what you have and did my truck by hand, looks good, but need the DA to take the swirls out.

I would save up for a DA. Everything looks great but the machine is a needed item to have.
