Help spend $40 for my buddy's b-day.

GlossyTundra

Tractor Detailer
His b-day is coming up soon and I always get him something detail related whether he likes it or not. He is one of these people that wash and wax his car and it stays clean, he just dosent do it right or use the right stuff. So I guess I need to get him a glaze that fills swirls, sealant, and a good cleaning QD and whatever else you could think of.

I was thinking

VM

EX-P

S&W

What else is good to give a friend?

If you want to spend a few more, this is probably your ticket: http://store.danase.com/clstpa.html

This package includes the following ClearKote products:

Car Wash 16 ounce

Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze 16 ounce

Carnauba Moose Wax 16 ounce

Rubber/Vinyl/Leather Treatment 16 ounce

Quik Shine 1 quart

Keep the RVLT for yourself and toss in a few decent MF towels, and you're good to go around 40.

Why not just do his car for him and then it'll be good to go. Give him some decent soap and an LSP of your choice for him to do his upkeep on, at leats he'd be starting with a nice prepped car.

It's a little more than $40 but for $10 more, you can get him a foam gun. Once he gets the swirls out, the foam gun will go a long way towards preventing them.

If that's too much, I agree with the suggestions for good wash mitts, etc. You can also get him a grit guard if he doesn't have that.

+1 for a really good wash setup.

Most people will touch the polish/sealant once and be done with it.

I would go with some choice wash, 2 sheepskin mitts, a 5-gallon bucket with grit guard, some QD, and a WWMF.
