Help picking nice microfiber towels

I think it is time to spend some money and pick up some nice micro fiber towels. I was wondering if you guys could help me a your favorite car washing mf, favorite polishing mf, favorite mf for waxing and your favorite mf for when you want to give the car a spray down with detail spray.

I should have started one of these myself. I searched threads all morning trying to find which towels to buy and had a hard time. I did narrow it down to particular brands recommended though.

I myself went with these because they sounded multi purpose but still pretty nice. Hope they work out for me for removing polish and sealants:

Here are the main brands I kept seeing people recommend:

Chemical Guys

Pakshak

west coast detail supply

From what I could deduce from the threads, the ones that are plusher can absorb more water and contaminants and are generally better for things like quick detailing. A shorter nap for removing wax, polish, etc.

Personally using DD Uber line towels and loving them. Especially the Green with red border No Name towel (looks the same as the Green Monster Pakshak towel for cheaper) for QD and wax removal. DD towels were one sale supposedly ending yesterday, but looks like sale is still on their site and you can stack their 15% off code on top.

Looks like a nice towel. Nice and plush...

Im new to this would there be a difference in a microfiber you would use for polish vs wax or quick detail. I know there are glass microfibers and there are specific micro fibers for drying. Also what is everyones favorite microfiber for drying I was thinking about ordering the big blue drying towel and the uber microfiber glass towels are those good choices

Phil's "Uber" towels are indeed nice. :) He's having an "up to 30% off" microfiber sale too at the moment.

Ditto on the "Uber" towels (green with the red border). I ordered 3 red w/black trim (16 x 24 IIRC) ones right before he stopped carrying them. They are nice for sealant/wax/QD removal but considerably less plush.

Eurow Shag weaves for drying and ONR.

Viking green with silk edging for sealant/wax/QD removal.

I don't remember the exact name but yellow Viking mf for interiors.

Edgeless polishing cloths for windows. The ones I have are blue and I think I got them from John Bull garage when they were having a close out sale but I don't see them on their website any more. Viking makes/made a yellow edgeless polishing cloth at one time and I have several of those. They are just the same, just a different color. Best towel I've ever used on glass.

Purple Cobra Jrs for door jambs.

Grey Vroom (Target) for under the hood.

El Gordo lime green "fatty" from Chemical Guys for wheels. They are just like the thin Vroom grey ones from Target. I'd call them "fatty" compared to a sheet of paper.

I'm just a weekend OCD warrior on my own vehicles and I haven't tried every brand out there. Listen the pros and the people with experience on here and you'll see a number of vendors/brands mentioned. These guys won't steer you wrong.
