Help me pick an LSP

I've got a 2005 pontiac GTO that is phantom black metallic. I've been using Tropi-care(Zaino-like but cheaper and better IMO), it provides and AMAZING relfection, but ZERO depth. So i'm looking for a good LSP, I believe the carnuaba is what i'm looking for. I want a DEEP and wet coat and i don't mind applying ever couple months or more(i enjoy detailing my car, its relaxing).

Anyways, here's my other products:

Tropi-care Carwash soap(also would love a recommendation for another soap i can find in store...)

Clay Magic Clay Bar

Menzerna IP

Menzerna FPII

I plan on applying all these with my PC so i believe i should get the paint perfect for applying whatever LSP i need, i don't think i need a glaze or filler. So what is your recommendation for a carnuaba? I was thinking Natty's Blue or P21s. Maybe Souveran?

Here's a link to my first posts with some pics.

EDIT: Just thought yall should know, Natty's Blue recieved the go ahead! Ordered tonight! Are there any sealants or glazes i should use under the natty's blue to add extra endurance or wetness to it?:woot2:

Lets open the flood gates again. On a black car in my opinion there are a few options.

Nattys blue

S100 or P21S

Pinnacle Souvran

Megs 26

Carnuba Moose

These are if you want to go Nuba.

If sealant is okay, then I would go for

Menzerna FMJ (you are already using the polishes)

Opti Seal

I love the look of Pinnacle liquid souvran on my pearl black 300zx, Have also tried natty's blue, S100, Megs 26. and all the OTC brands. I use prima amigo underneath on black and EX-P on red.

I think i want a Nuba, which one, in your opinion, would provide the deepest shine?

Man i can't afford Pinnacle Souveran, lol..... High school budget....lol

On a budget, I would personally choose Nattys Blue or S100. Both can be had for less than 20 bucks and will make you drool.

Whats your comparison between Natty's and P21s? Any major differences or just preferences?

Pinnacle Souveran was my answer before reading down a few posts where you said you didnt want to spend the bucks. DP Max wax is a great product that IMO is similar to Souveran. I feel that I can see the difference, but if you have never used Souveran, then you wouldnt be able to. Application/removal are almost identical to Souveran. It's also much cheaper. Worth a shot.

You have an '05 GTO but can't afford a $70 can of wax?

Good luck keeping that car maintained! It sure can be difficult maintaining a car with a low budget. Oh, the only waxes I've used so far are OCW and AW. I have others sitting in my garage but it's difficult to pry away from these two.

I actually received the GTO as a deal for getting a 35 on my ACT and getting a full ride to Oklahoma City University totaling ~~$110,000.

Wow, that wasn't easy, I bet you have some dam proud parents!

For lasting a long time try Collinite 476s (3 to 5 months), fairly cheap. Great look.

For expensive, Chemical guys 50/50, cost about $50.00. Awesome look!

Regardless of how well you finish the paint (polishing, key to whole thing), a lot of people here have found a glaze like Meg's #7 applied "under" a carnuba wax adds a lot to the wet look.

I am short on actual expperience, but long on reading all the posts here. Regardless of what you decide to use do a search on that (or all) products before you make up your mind.

I already made a product reccomendation. Just posting again to say CONGRATS on that man. You should be very proud of yourself. Take care of the goat and have fun with it (but dont get caught having fun with it):D.

I'm moving from a solid to a metallic/pearl black myself..I know of all these mentioned, have purchased and used many. Are there any standouts when you involve metallic or pearl for black?

Do we get into a (pardon the pun) gray area with advantages between Carnauba v Sealant?

Here's one that doesn't get much credit, but I'd throw down a challenge to anyone to beat this combo:

Meg's #20 (not #21 - #20)

Then top it with any of the following: Pinnacle Souveran 100/100; P21S/S100 98/100; Meguiar's #16 97/100; Natty's Blue or Meg's #26 95/100.

S100 is probably the best performance to price ratio.

I've personally tried every one of these in just the last two weeks while searching for the best combo for my black car.

I'd go so far as to bet anyone a bottle/can of their favorite product that Meg's #20 will look darker black than whatever they've been using.
