Help me name my new company

I've decided to go mobile on my own and am trying to think of a name. At first I liked "Showroom Shine Detailing" but now I'm starting to think it's overly catchy and therefore wouldn't be taken as serious as others. We also all know that showrooms are full of hack detailed cars, but I still think it has a good connotation. I'm now leaning towards something a little more standard and professional like "Premier Auto Detailing" or "Executive Auto Detailing." More dry, but more professional as well, which is something to consider because most of my clients are/will be higher income individuals that appreciate professionalism.

One last thing to consider is that I will exclusively be doing rinseless (ONR/DP RWG) and waterless (CG Ecosmart) washes so I could go with the whole eco-friendly, green thing in the name. I like this because it would help distinguish me from all the others simply based on name, and it would appeal to those that are consciences of the environment. However, I don't like it because it's almost like hopping on the bandwagon green trend, and therefore maybe not taken as seriously as a more standard name.

Please help me figure this out.

I think you are thinking too much into it. I doubt anyone you detail for will think "showroom" as a hacked car.

As far as having something economical in your name, unless you plan on doing a ton for Prius owners I doubt many people will care. As a matter of fact some people might think you use low quality products because they are eco friendly.

name it TSS Detailing, and send me all your money MUAHAHAHAHAA!

That's just about as ridiculous as charging someone $500 for something they can get by just copying source code!

:thx

And copying the source code is just as rediculous as using a nationally recognized logo as your own-you'll get sued for infringing on intelectual property rights and think "oh, maybe the $500 was a better option." :grinno:

woah guys am I sensing some tension here?

BTW Todd, I love your business card. It will surely have some influence on mine if that's okay with you, but as I'm in Las Vegas it shouldn't interfere with you

What is your name? Ever consider naming the business "First (or last) name" Mobile Detailing?

You can use the waterless wash in your tagline. I don't know....... "We do more with 1 galon of water than they do with 20"?

"Waterless wash- a 21st century solution to a 21st century problem"

As for the other thought in this thread- You mean I can just copy the source code? That'll save me hours. Hold on......BRB:p

Oh sorry I haven't formally introduced myself. I'll be sure to do that in the proper section but my name is Brady Cleary. I like your idea of putting the eco green thing in a tagline rather than the name. That would be way easier to change if ever desired.

I have thought about using my initials, but my issue with that is the conflict if I ever wanted to sell this company sometime down the road. Some of my friends call me B Clear though, just a shortened version of my name. So playing off that, what about "Be Clear Detailing"?

Call it Dessert Detailing, a play on word with Desert. Tag line "treat yourself with the best"

If you're just starting out let the name come in time, just use your first name Bobs Detailing" for a bit.

Cheers,

GREG

Sure, Brad, you're more than welcome to use my business card for inspiration! I enjoy helping others and sharing info! Speaking of... I have a great layout for a general Craigslist ad. Maybe I'll post it up here for everyone to share or you can just email me if you'd like it.

:LOLOL

I've decided to stick with Showroom Shine Detailing. It does have a really good connotation and people seem to like it. And it's somewhat different, even though it's been used before. Thanks for the help guys.
