WW, clayed, getting ready to polish.

SO you decide:

PA Master Sealant

Or

McKees Paint Coat

I will coat glass with McKees, dress trim in Griots Team Restore, and polish and coat trim in PA Supersport.

I will review thread when done polshing

I vote for PA Master Sealant. It`s supposed to last for a year and you can top it with a wax if you like. The McKees would be more durable, but topping options decline.

Does an Autopian really have a "beater" anything? Lol

I kind of do, it`s what i use to test some stuff on but even then it still looks cleaner than most cars in my neighborhood . 1997 Tan/Gold Lexus ES300 , 280k miles, front covered in rock chips ,fender with rusted dent and others around car, oh and minor CC failure on roof. It was purchased like that unfortunately .

not really, that is why I put it in quotes. It has 320k on it and looks better than any truck around here from early 2k`s. At least once a week someone asks me if it is for sale. Maintenance is key with everything.

McKees
Then top with PA high gloss in a couple of weeks.

That combo may very well work. I was actually thinking the Masters Sealant then top with HG and possibly Gold Zirkon since I have yet to apply it to the truck.

Well it is all polished, trim is done, and IPA wiped. I have a prior commitment this evening so the LSP will wait till I get home around 8pm EST.

Looks like McKees is in the lead. BTW anyone no off hand the cure time between coats?

Thanks for the input so far everyone.

I have a confession to make..........I did not take any of the above input.

I got home, opened the detailing supply cabinet and got to thinking :idea

I`m "prepping" for winter.

SOOOOOOO......why not protect it with a Viking? I grabbed me some Northern Paint Protection, and applied 2 coats to cure over night. After I finish my coffee it gets a coat of Viking Spritz. The spritz claims to have the "metallic" effect so we will see what the end outcome is. Then in a couple weeks testing some High Gloss on top.

Then the wife and I are off to get a tree. Final pic to come

Here are some beading pics. This is after driving in rain, and sitting under a steady morning rain.

The self cleaning is really good. Driving the water flowed off with ease around 30mph, and hood is about dry.
