Help me clean my factory Bullitt wheels

My wheels on the Stang seemed to look alot shinier on the lips back in the day. I cleaned and clayed them but they still look kinda dull. Can I use a light polish on them like Vanilla Moose or Meg. SFP?



Are these rims clearcoated and would this be safe and would it be fine to do this by hand any suggestions are appreciated?

I do think they are clear coated so polish with your favorite polish then apply a sealant to them to keep them shinny. You can tell if they are clear coated compared with bare aluminum if you wipe the polish and the towel turns black. If you want to do it faster try a Mothers Polish ball for a drill and you can match it with Mothers Clear Coat Wheel polish. However any polish like VM or #9 will work, I like to use AIO since it cleans and protects in one step.
 
I'll have to try that.. I've never thought to wax my wheels.. I usually just clean them with a normal sponge and call it good.
 
you're wheel lips are probably clearcoated. you could try VM and the SFP. or try that Mother's Clear Coat Wheel polish or AIO. once you get them cleaned, keep them clean with AIO + SG. :xyxthumbs
