So I found this patch on my paint and I have no clue what it is from. Would love to hear what you guys think. It felt completely flat with no slickness at all. A picture is worth a thousand words so here it is:

Washing did nothing to help the matter, so I attacked it with a claybar and with a little elbow grease I found my pretty blue paint hiding underneath:

I know the lighting is different in the shots, obviously I didn't bring out that much of a color change. But, anybody have an educated guess as to what this could have been?
